Supporting Institutions

Explore a list of the 54 public and private financial institutions that have chosen to become supporting institutions of the initiative below. They include commercial financial institutions from developed and developing economies and development banks operating in diverse national, regional and international contexts.

Mainstreaming Climate in Financial Institutions is the only initiative bringing together such a diverse group of financial institutions to share knowledge about all aspects of climate mainstreaming.

Through the initiative, supporting institutions share experience, knowledge and lessons learned with each other and with the broader financial community.

Financial Institutions become ‘Supporting Institutions’ and gain full access to all the initiative’s events and resources by expressing their support for the initiative and acknowledging the guidance provided by the five voluntary Principles for Mainstreaming Climate Action within Financial Institutions and their interest in participating in the knowledge sharing activities of the initiative.
