Carbon markets

The event started with presentations from Tom Jouvet (AFD) on the basics of carbon markets and Andi Sanusi (UNEP CCC), with an update on deals and transactions registered under Article 6 of the Paris Agreement. Kumesh Naidoo then shared DBSA’s experience in scoping the creation of a voluntary carbon market in South Africa.
